Birch Ply Wardrobe

Over-engineered but oh so satisfying to build, this wardrobe is made from 15mm birch ply, with hidden box joints so it went up like a set of splintery lego. That was the idea - in practice there were a few issues with machining tolerances but nothing a sharp chisel couldn't fix.
Essentially a lot of boxes stacked on top of one another, this wardrobe takes up the whole wall of a bedroom in a South East London house. Care was taken to show the striped ply end grain to great effect. Soft-close drawers and door hinges complete a rather high end piece of integrated storage.
